A little more hair
I took this photo earlier today to show off my new hair growth. Soon I will have actual bangs again and will no longer resemble my middle-aged, balding brother (if I had one).
I wondered recently if strangers have trouble telling if I am male or female from just looking at my face. I decided that no one only looks at your face: we use all the visual clues available. So in my case, the fact that I wear a pink coat or earrings might be the giveaway.

I had cancer treatment a few years ago and it really is difficult to treat with chemotherapy, exams, and the painkillers known as Hydrocodone, Lorcet, Norco given to us to combat the pain of the disease.
ReplyDeleteJill my dear. You've expressed this concern before and I've taken a hard look at you. No one is mistaking you for a man. It's really not all about the hair. Some of my most feminine friends in recent years had voluntarily shaved or extremely short hair. Some can pull it off and you do it well.
