What neuropathy feels like
I have another metaphor on what neuropathy feels like. Imagine that my feet are tiny boats, with the hull under the water (the sole of my foot) coming down to a point. that's the part I walk on, so it feels like extra, painful pressure on the center of my foot (and my toes).

Mine comes and goes, but it usually manifests when I'm at rest. For example, in my feet it feels like inside the tip of every one of my toes there is a little piece of metal (like the ones in a toaster or an electric oven) that suddenly gets turned on on max high. It burns like that for about 10-30 seconds then it just hurts for a few hours like I broken the tip of the toe falanx.
